Is anyone using the HAC4 by Ciclosport with an oversize bar? If so is there a bracket available that is sized for the larger bar? Thanks!

Well, Ciclosport doesn't advertise a different bracket and considering how tight the bracket is with the 26mm bars I have I don't see how normal one could be used.. but US Postal is going to be using the HAC-4 this year and they run 31.8mm deda newtons.. so I have to assume there is a way to make it work.. maybe they use the watch band??

Good guess in the other post, there is a watchband, but the cyclecomputer functions do not work when not attached to the bracket, only the heart rate functions. The watchband is for whatever other cardiac activity you might choose to do off the bike. But, Ciclosport does have a new bracket, it is being shipped with the new CM414's and HAC4's. Not sure if they have extra yet for aftermarket replacement, but I'm sure they will soon. The part that attaches to the bar looks like a half moon and has double sided tape. Then a really thick "rubber band type thing" wraps around from one side of the mount to the other. It is hard to describe, but it works. Check with your LBS, they may be able to order one for you.
