|Record rear derailleur wiggle problem... please help.||gnailuh|

|I have a 99 record rear derailleur that's wiggling a little, which leads to miss shifts one in a while. This is the metal unit, not the carbon one.
The bolt that holds the der to the der hanger dropout is nice and tight. But the der seems to be attached to some metal bracket that actually is touching the dropout. Between the metal bracket and the der itself looks to be some plastic seal... it is this seal or something around there that seems to be wiggling/rocking.
The result of this is the der unit is angled towards the wheel by a few degrees. So if I pull the der from the pully, it will move a millimeter or so and staighten up.
I could not find the proper pdfs to on campagnolo's site. Does anyone know now to fix this? Can I take the der apart and rebuild it?

|The derailleur can be rebuilt. I'm not sure if a little play is normal. Call Campy and ask them about it, they are pretty good about technical questions.|| |
