|well since I replied to your bike question on the general board, I'll reply here. I like Carnacs a lot and the new Time road pedals look good. However, my current fav is using Carnac mtb shoes with Speedplay Frog pedals--it's nice to be able to walk around like a normal person! I like that setup so much I bought Frogs for all my bikes. Also, Speedplay just came out with a new cleat design for the Frogs which seems to have solved my one complaint with them, which was durability.|

|Shoes and pedals are like saddles - very subjective. Best plan is to get to a large shop where you can try on several different shoes and determine the best fit. It helps to know your foot type (narrow or wide, high arch or flat arch, toe down or flat pedaling style, etc).
As for pedals, if you have no complaints with your old Look system I would suggest staying put with a Look design. I think Shimano's new SPD-SL (PD-7750) pedal is a nice design and basically the same as Look. But what do I know, I am a Time user!

|I agree Eric, just got back from the bike shop.
tried Carnac and Sidi, hated the Carnac, loved the
Sidi-very comfy and cheaper too. I also checked-out
the Dura ace PD7750's-very light and nice as well.
