Does anyone know what the reach is on Mavic's SSC calipers? There website does not give this information. Thanks.

49mm - fits any standard race bike. Thinking about fitting on my race bike - cheaper, lighter and better looking than Record.

They feel more powerful, as well. The rubber compound in their pads works very well with both aluminum (Mavic, Velomax) and carbon (Zipp) rims. When switching from one of my bikes with Record D brakes to bike with Mavics, I have to be careful of over-braking.

Also of note, if you're not aware; on mine, there is no brake release lever since it's done from the brake lever side of the Mektronic shifters.

Have they added a model with a brake release for changing wheels quickly? If not you need to take that into consideration.
