Just got some coombe pros. How do I use them?armchair armstrong

Seriously. I bought them second hand and have no instructions. I figured out the cleats from the web site but the detents are a bit of a mystery. Also, I know there is a way to lube them (but how?). Any other tidbits of information would be appreciated too.

Thanks!
Try contacting them through their website.JL

Everytime these pedals are asked about, they usually don't get many, if any, responses.

Let us know how you like them though once you figure them out.

Good luck.

Armchair Armstrong,
I've owned a set of Coombes for about 2 years now and they are very easy to use. The detents go towards the front of the shoe and the angled section that comes out from the cleat goes towards the outside. Clipping in is done like speedplay where the back of the cleat is entered first but the difference is with the coombe you twist your heel to the outside then back to normal positioning to clip in all while keeping slight pressure on the pedal. If you want instructions and service help contact Bill at Coombe. I hope you like them as much as I like mine.
