has anybody seen the wheels? their weights are shockingly light. optimistically, i'm thinking they may have worked the kinks out of their previous designs and made a set of top notch wheels. 1250g for a set? 1425g for aero wheels? 1100g for carbon?...i'm thinking they might not be incredibly stiff with their low spoke count, but i'm light, so we'll see. does anybody know what their prices are?

My understanding is the the Vigor and Elan rims and hubs are the same as those in the American Classic 420 and 350 wheelsets. I believe that Rolf employed/licensed the rim and hub designs from Bill Shook who owns American Classic.

The Vigor and Elans are to retail for $849 with the Vigor's supposedly available now and the Elans to be available late spring 2003.

I just got a set of rolf vigor on my Giant acouple of days ago(Dec.7),only put about 60 miles on them so far.First ride on them they felt plenty stiff and Im 230# at 6'3.I give more feedback latter on them after I puy some more miles on them, which should happen very soon as I'm heading down south to Arizona/California area.I was looking at the hubs too and they look just like my American Classic hubs.I don't know about the rims ,the Rolfs vigor are listed at 450 grams and the AC 420 at 420grams.Email them for more Info,I did and they sent me A detail letter with all the weights and info on all three sets of wheels.Or Email me and I pass on the info.
