Having not ever removed these cranks, I figured I would need a crank extractor. Wrong!
I unwound the crank bolts and the cranks just came off. I then realised that I had a splined BB. Coming from a MTB background, I didn't realise that splined BB's were being made for the road as far back as 1998 so I was quite shocked.
How ingenious. Crank extractor tool anyone:-)?! |
