I need to buy a hydration pack for my back (not the waist kind) and I like to know which one is the best for someone about 5 feet tall. I only need a small pack.
Hydration only, or storage too?Allez Rouge

If all you want is a bag with a bladder in it, or maybe a couple hundred cubic inches of storage, I don't think it will matter too much since this category of packs are MUCH smaller than even the average daypack, and certainly a lot smaller than full-blown backpacks. They just aren't big enough to make fit much of an issue. Just pick the fluid capacity you want and the color you like, and you're all set.

If you also want some fairly generous storage capacity, however, then you may want to visit an LBS, a sporting goods store, REI, or the like and try some different models on with a dummy load in place to see how they fit and feel.
