changing stems, stack height, spacerseflayer2

I want to change threadless stem to one with higher angle. The brand of stem I am looking at has more stack height than the current one I am using. Can you get spacers in .5, 1.0, 2.0, 2.5 millimeters, etc. to enable making the new stem fit without altering steer tube length? Old stem appears to be 45 mm and new one is 52 mm.

If you have a 10 on there now, you can replace it with a 3, which is pretty common. I'm currious ... I've never seen a road stem higher than 42mm. You've got two of them. What are they?

This is an Airborne Zeppelin with an Icon threadless stem. I'm considering replacing it with a Salsa road moto ace. I read someplace that the Sala is 52 cm stack.
