Has anybody bought custom built wheels from Colorado Cyclist? Can you comment on their build quality regarding trueness, proper tensioning, etc? Other custom wheelbuilders you would recommend also?

I have two sets of wheels built by CC. One was a pair of Mavics w/XTR hubs for my MTB. The other was a pair of Mavic Open Pros with Dura Ace hubs that came with a complete road bike I bought from them. First the MTB wheels - I've done several long and hard trail rides over about 4 years and they're still true as can be. Roadie wheels - I've had them for over a year now and they're also still true as can be. If you haven't ordered wheels yet, try to catch them when they offer free shipping. Sometimes they offer stuff like that around the holidays. Overall, CC does an excellent job, and that goes for their bike building too.
