Folks,

Have a new bike - 2 weeks old - and my wheels developed a slight buckle which required truing. Whilst I know that new wheels need to bed in and while they are they may develop such symptoms, I wanted to ask any rider using this wheelset how they hold up once "run in" - ie are they fairly robust? I weigh 80 kg (175 pounds). Otherwise I am looking to build a rear wheel and use the RaceLite on race days only.

Thanks for any comments,

Regards,

Have 1500 miles on Race Lites, and did slight truing of rear after a few hundred miles. They have remained true since. (I weigh just 5 pounds less than you.)
Add 1500 miles, and my experience reflects mja'sTrekFurthur

However, I did no initial truing, average about 170 over the year (165 racing, and 175 winter), and am fairly easy on wheels. I race on the Xlites and like them more; the rear wheel of the Lites is quite heavy and I feel it on climbs and quick group excelerations.
