|I'm looking for some new pedals for my bike. Have a chance to buy some Look PP396 pedals at a really great price. But I have heard from some people and read a few reviews that the spindals break on these. Has anyone had this problem or are we looking at just a few isolated cases?|

|No problems what so ever. My oldest set has over 10,000 miles.|

|I agree with Dave. I've had them on my ride for many miles and really like 'em.|

|I've got PP396's on both of my road bikes, lotsa miles and both pairs are almost as good as new. My only observation is that the paint on these pedals seems to chip really easily.
FWIW, I'm 215 Lbs, and NO spindle issues, so I think these pedals are bomb-proof. Check out http://www.TotalCycling.com for the $69 PP396 "team color" pedals, best deal in the world. Add some tires, and the $22.50 DHL charge is more than offset by your savings.
