|Is ICON still in business? If so, what is their web address or do you know a good way of getting detailed specs on ICON parts?|

|Trek has owned the Icon name/technology for some time, and used it for a couple of years as their in-house "components" line. Trek used to maintain an Icon website at one point, but I think they shut it down a couple of years ago.
Personally, I always liked Icon stuff, except for the $#@! seatpost clamp, which stripped easily (IMO). Wasn't too terribly heavy, looked good (with the bronze finish).
There was a recall on some of the Icon stems a year and a half ago--but not all of them. If you have one and if you're in any doubt about whether it's a recall or not, talk to a Treak dealer and they should be able to fix you up...

|Trek is now using the Bontrager name on there in house parts. I suspect that they are being manufactured in the same facilities as the Icon parts.|| |
