Metal cased cablesMGS

Has anyone used the new metal cased cables being sold at a premium, but being described as less flexible and therefore easier shifting?

Any personal experience with is appreciated. I am running with a Campy 10 setup.

Thanks.

There lighter. They shine - especially under the lights at the velodrome. They squeek where they go into the downtube if not greased. (I thought it was the head set for a long time.) Would I buy them again? Not unless I could get them for less than $20.

I have the Nokon cables and they did have a much crisper feel than the shimano cable. They look way cool, and are definately an attention getter. They do tip the scales at about 1/3 the weight of standard cable too, and they will never need replacing since they are machined pieces. On the down side the finish is corroding off of mine after a beach ride(on the road)from the salt air.
