Wheels, wheels, wheels...elviento

Here is a question about wheels? Everyone raves about traditional wheels, but I have had no problems on Ksyriums, ROlf Comp, and Shimano 6500s, but have had lots of trouble with DA/MavicReflex, and Zipp 101 wheels (28 spoke, box section aluminum rims). They just go out of true after 2-3 rides. Is it a break-in period or just crappy?
Gotta ask some questions about the build quality. nmEager Beagle

There is no such thing as a break-in period for wheels, whatever some shop staff like to tell you. Ordinary wheels only go untrue (from a true build) if their spokes unwind from their nipples. This only happens if the spokes are twisted from building. This should not happen.

My support of traditional wheels is based on their economy, simplicity, and the degree of standardisation in their components. I have no reason to suggest that expensive pre-built wheels lose trueness any more regularly. I know that well-built ordinary wheels never untrue themselves, and expect no less of the factory versions.
