Anybody using these wheels - Velocity Spartacus?
Velocity Deep V rims
Formula hubs w/sealed cartridge bearings-2Fr 4Rr
14G ST. Spokes - 20Fr/24Rr
Fr:800gm Rr:1020gm
How are they holding up? Are they any good? Stiffness?
As you guys can tell I am looking for a set of wheels to finish of my winter/crit racer and don't want to spend to much money.
The Velocity web site says that the 20/24 spoke count are made for heavier riders. And that's exactly what Supergo has for very cheap. This is very tempting and need some advise.
Thanks

.......that THIS wheelset, from Supergo would be a better wheel, at a better price, and better able to be serviced/repaired anywhere. Plus they are 20 grams lighter! The only advantage to the Spartacus wheels, that I can see, is they are more "zoot".

But I'm old and today is my birthday. So what do I know?
