Triple rear derailer lighter than double?timfire

I was just looking at the Shimano website, and according to them their triple rear derailer are actually LIGHTER than their doubles?!? I know the listed weights don't normally equal real-world weights, but is it true triples weigh less than doubles?

(The triple front does weigh more according to them, it's just the rear that like that.)
