Are Zip 440's UCI roadrace compliant?Pro' and cons's tubularbonkaholic

I am interested in a pair of used Zipp 440 tubulars and I would like to know if they are compliant with UCI group races and I have never owned a pair of tubulars,so,I wish to read some feedback opinions.

Contrary to the notion that clinchers give "almost" the same ride as tubulars, they have different handling characteristics. Tubulars can get pinch flats but that is very rare. Tubulars can roll off the rim if not properly glued but that too is very rare. When you do have a flat the tubulars will not blow off the rim like a clincher and give much better control. I have had far fewer flats with tubulars and changing the tire takes about the same time on the road as changing a tube.
