switching magnets for ksyriumsswcjack

I just put a new pair of mavic ksyriums on my bike and put the provided magnet on the ksyriums, but the computer is not picking it up. the computer worked with my other magnet on my old wheels. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong??
Thanks

I hate to state the obvious, but are you sure the magnet is close enough to the sensor? (Or rather the pickup is close enough to the magnet...)

I had the same problem. I replaced the magnet with a Cateye magnet made for aero spokes and it works fine. A friend of mine also had the problem and the Cateye magnet worked. I had to remove some of the material of the plastic piece that the magnet screws into with a dremel tool to get it to fit over the spoke properly.

I made the experience that some computers need stronger magnets than others.

Shimano's Flight Decke comes with a very big magnet and doesn't work with a mid-size magnet like the one that comes with the Ksyriums.

My VDO works with the Ksyrium magnet, but not with a small Sigma magnet.
