|I haven't heard anything bad about these pedals. That kind of scares me, actually. How is the cleat to walk on? How heavy is the cleat?
There are also 0 reviews here on these pedals. They seem like they'd be nice, but it would be great to hear from someone who has used the Impacts as well as other pedals.

|I started off cycling, 10 years ago, with a pair of Look pedals. A rugby injury to my knee flared up from the pedals and my sports physio suggested I use Time. (He was a keen cyclist and still is).
I used Equip for about 9 years. The two things I really liked about these pedals was the float and the rentention. The two things I did not like about the Equip was it was difficult to clip in sometimes (especially at traffic lights) and "walking" around in the cleat was sometimes awkward (read: walking into the 7-11 and slipping on your asre in front of three gorgeous women!)
The Impacts still have the same benefits of the Equip, yet are easier to clip into and out of, and the cleats are easier to walk around in, as the rear cam (the slippery metal one which I use to skate on) is "protected" by two raised plastic legs on the sides of the cleat plate. these do not interfer with clipping in and out nor float.
I am not sure how heavy the new cleat is, but it is lighter than the previous two cams.
I prefer the new Impact pedals too, as they are lighter. There is some concern with the durabiity of the adjuster bolt, as it is placed on the outside of the pedal where you are more likely to scrap in a crash. One way to avoid this is to not crash though!

|Just got my impacts about 5 month ago, outstanding, easy in and out good float and the cleat is less bulky and is designed for walking ease. A total improvement from my old time equipe pedals all the way around.|| |
