Calling all Bianchi experts....for advice on used one.peter1

I'm thinking about buying my wife a road bike...she's got a mtb but like many women isn't into the aggression of the sport (firewall: note I said many, not all), but she has enjoyed riding on paved country roads with me. And I know she is pretty fond of Bianchis, mostly for the color. So here's my question for anyone who knows the bikes well: What would be a good, used model to look out for on ebay or elsewhere? I'd love to find something with indexed shifters, so that rules out older models. Also, would like to find Shimano 105 or higher level components. She'd be about a 54 cm, I think. (She's 5'7" with longish arms, weighs about 115-120, so relatively lightweight is good)

Thanks for your help.

Veloce - you could probably get a very good deal on a last year model. Check ebay (I've seen them there). BEWARE of Bianchi sizing. They are measured from Center of Bottom Bracket to Top of the Seat Tube COLLAR. I would generally ride a 55 cm c-c bike, but w/Bianchi (which I own) I take a 57cm.
Veloce or ErosMcAndrus

Either a Veloce or Eros might suit her. Veloce is a little more performance oriented (though not for racing) while Eros is more casual and has mounts for racks and such.

Both are comfortable for long haul riding. Both are also steel and are a tad heavy when compared to aluminum or carbon.

All-in-all they are both very good bikes and good values.
