74 deg. headtube angle, 45mm fork rake recommended?kamss

i just bought a used frame with a 74 deg headtube angle and wanted to see what fork rake you guys would recommend. i was thinking 45mm, i'm just a recreational rider. i was thinking that a 43mm rake fork would make the steerering twitchy. am i right? i'm not an expert at frame geometery, so any help is appreciated. also, can someone recommend a place where i can get a good price on a fork with a 45mm (if that's the recommended rake). i was thinking reynolds ouzo.
thanks,
kam

Somehow my comments got lost.

More rake will make the steering quicker, not slower. A 40mm rake would be more common with a 74 degree HTA.

The other relevant factor is frame size. I would assume that you have a large frame. There aren't many manufacturers using a 74 HTA these days, except on large frames which have longer wheelbases.

What brand and size do you have?
