Campy Nucleon question (Doug Sloan?)...5ive
Sep 5, 2002 10:45 AM
I have a set of '01 Campy Nucleon with Campy 10sp freehub body that I would like to convert to use for my Shimano 9sp equipped bike. I 'think' it's possible to switch out the freehub body on these wheels. There's a campy part "FW-98-41" listed on branford bike website (http://www.branfordbike.com/campy/campy.html) that claims to do this. Has anyone done this before? If so, could you please share with me how to do it? Is it just a simple freehub swap or do I need to remove the spokes, etc... Thanx in advance.
just use a 9 sp Campy cassette nmDougSloan

No premature cassettes or chain wear? Crisp shifting? No noise (which I'm hyper sensitive to)?

I have a racing buddy who did it that way for about 2 years; he said it worked fine.
