I have a Muscle fork on a Starship AL frame. I actually really like it for fast rides/races. It is very stiff and confidence inspiring on twisty decents and sprints. I am 6'1" and only weigh 153lbs. so keep that in mind though. If you are a clydesdale, you might not think it is so stiff. However, this is not my only bike and for the long 80+ mile days, I pull out the steel bike with the HSC3 fork, a much more confortable ride for me although not as fun to hammer on.
So, if you are looking for a stiff responsive fork, I highly recommend the Muscle. (I have the 1 1/8" version)
Good luck! |
