Neutron vs. Eurus(4 posts)

Neutron vs. Eurusboat
Aug 20, 2002 8:23 AM
I'm looking for a new wheelset and have narrowed my choice to these two. somehow i can get Eurus slightly cheaper (like 30 bucks) than neutron. I want to use them for both training and racing...and most of the time i climb. So any idea which one should i go for? i am about 155lb. Thank you for your comments.

I think they are probably very similar. Neutron is said to be more comfortable and less stiff. I weigh 195 and have Eurus. They are light, stiff, and fast.

I really wanted to get a set of Eurus but I had a concern re the spoke format on the rear. It looked like an inherently "scary" design in that a spoke failure would probably "taco" the rear wheel.

FWIW: I recently busted a spoke on my rear Neutron wheel and I didn't even have to open my rear brake pads to get home.
