|Chorus vs. Record crankset||BenR|

|Is there a noticable difference in stiffness between the Record (alloy, not carbon) and Chorus cranksets? I'm 170lbs, strong time trialist but not a sprinter. The weight loss and cool looks alone isn't worth the price difference in my opinion (just like a lot of other record parts).
I'm half-seriously considering an upgrade from my Chorus crank - should I go for the Record or save my money? Anyone know of a good price or want to work out some kind of deal/trade? I'm looking for 172.5mm 10 speed. Thanks for any comments.

|Where you're not focused on sprinting but rather doing TTs (smooth power output) you likely would not notice the difference.|

|I weigh 195 and the Chorus seems plenty stiff for me.|

|check with Scott Mosko at firstname.lastname@example.org for a good price on Campy cranks.
I think the price difference is only around $50. Way worth it.
