Can Anyone please comment on relaitvley stiff, safe & dependable stems & bars?
Someone mentioned that the Newton wasn't safe?
The Majic (stem) is extremley light, is that safe?
I would like a light ergo bar in a 40 & a light stem in a 130. Any suggestions?
I am small, 145lbs. I want a bar that will take aero bars, so I think that rules out carbon fiber, is that true?.
I now have the ITM Millenium combo. I'd like to go a little lighter. Some say that bar is too flexy, who agrees?
Thanks

If your only 145 lbs you shouldn't have any problems with deda newton, not that there are any anyways. Best bar stem you can get.

I weigh 210 and have no problems with the Deda Newton Stem/Deda Magic bar combo. The only thing you have to be careful of is stripping the threads on the ti bolts..just don't overtighten and you will be O.K.

At 145lbs I doubt you will flex the ITM Millenium. Besides, if you like the "feel" of a bar, and have not been able to flex them to date, why change? Will shaving a few grams off your bars and stem make a "real" difference?
