|How much should I expect to pay for a new Cannondale CAAD 5 roadbike frame? How much used?
Right now I ride an old Cannondale 2.8 Aluminum frame, would the best upgrade be to a newer frame (it is a little small for me) or would it be better to first upgrade my wheels? (105/Open4 to KsyriumElites). I'm a college kid with a road bike habbit, gotta get the most bang for my $.
Thanks for any info or ideas

|go to a Cdale dealer. they have a frame exchange program. CAAD 5 will retail for about $1200 with fork. With the exchange it will be around $900 I think.|

|Try this place. I have never ordered from him, but I have never heard a complaint either. The price for a CAAD 5 is $610.

|You should also check Helen's Cycles in So Ca. They have team frames pretty cheap. I think I bought my Caad5 frame for something like $650. Helens has a web site.
FWIW: I sold the frame after about 1K miles because I didn't like the way it felt. IMHO, the Giant TCR is a better frame (unless you are >180# and very strong).
