I'm getting the hankering to buy a disc wheel, I'm just not sure which one. The Ghibli LOOKS very cool but the cost is directly equal to its coolness. I know i cannot afford a Zipp's... what are my other option??? If you could include est. costs w/ the wheels, I ould greatly apprechiate it, Thanx

Time trial gear like disc wheels are highly desired when you don't have them, and seen as disposable when you have them and need to raise some money, which leads to their availability on E-bay.

Zipp discs can be had for a few hundred bucks, Mavic and Campy discs are pretty rare and still expensive though.
a HED disc is ("only") $495DougSloan

... consider a Renn also...

No first hand experience, but I know a few riders who own and reap the benefit from said... $320 for a highly specialized wheel.

Note too that local race clubs and racers might have used gear available (many clubs may require active racing member status for deals). Check your local Pro shop and cycling club's BBS.

I think X Labs (overseas maker) was working on one too... might wanna call Nytro or Ario direct to see what the deal and costs might be. http://www.nytro.com/ http://www.nytro.com/contact-us.html http://www.airointernational.com/ (not listed on their sites)
