Wobble in my cassettesparklenuts

I need help!!!

I have a pair of Mavic Cosmos and the cassette wobbles when they are free wheeling. I have looked for past discussions, and had no luck. If you have any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

Cassette's do wobble to some degree, some more some less. Sometimes it's the freehub body. You will notice the cassette does fit loosely to the free hub body. There is never usually a problem with this, plus you are the only one who knows.

Double check to make sure the last cog is sitting correct on the splines. If it's not sitting correct, the lockring will still fit, but the cassette will wobble.

I agree with dave, made the mistake of not having mine lined up a couple of times and it caused a wobble.

Dirt, debris, damaged spacers, or a misaligned spoke guard.

Take you cassette off the hub and inspect and clean everything very good. You may have to remove burs from the spacers if they are soft aluminum and are damaged. Use a flat surface and 400 grit wet/dri for this.

Very likely not the hub itself.
