|Speedplay Zeros Suk!!||alansutton|

|Okay, I've had it with these pedals and I'm going to vent this morning. First of all- I have had been using Speedplay x-2s for the past 4 years with nothing but excellent results. So when they wore out, I thought I'd try Speedplays lastest and greatest Zero stainless pedals. To make a long story short, they dont work. I keep pulling out unintentionally during hard efforts and no amount of adjustments change this. Yesterday I pulled out on a sprint which caused me to crash into a ditch and I tacoed my front wheel.
Bottom line: stick with the X series.

|I'm currently building up a new bike and was trying to decide to stick w/ old tried & true X1's or the new Zeros. I decided to stick with the X1's, and agree that they are great pedals.
Will speedplay do anything for you under warranty???

|spring tension, or not working when dirty, breaking, expensive to replace, but in general, most like them.|| |
