Speedplay Zeros Suk!!alansutton

Okay, I've had it with these pedals and I'm going to vent this morning. First of all- I have had been using Speedplay x-2s for the past 4 years with nothing but excellent results. So when they wore out, I thought I'd try Speedplays lastest and greatest Zero stainless pedals. To make a long story short, they dont work. I keep pulling out unintentionally during hard efforts and no amount of adjustments change this. Yesterday I pulled out on a sprint which caused me to crash into a ditch and I tacoed my front wheel.

Bottom line: stick with the X series.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience...kapalua

I'm currently building up a new bike and was trying to decide to stick w/ old tried & true X1's or the new Zeros. I decided to stick with the X1's, and agree that they are great pedals.

Will speedplay do anything for you under warranty???
Cleats seem to be the weak link. Other users complain aboutPaul

spring tension, or not working when dirty, breaking, expensive to replace, but in general, most like them.
