Zipp reccomends KoolStop black pads (presumably the stock Campy pad will melt on long braking events). Anyone used the salmon or the black/salmon pads? Do they grip better than the stock pads also?

thanks

The Campy pads will work, but will melt (a little) with really long, hard, repeated breaking. Unless you are doing extreme riding, I'd just stick with them, especially if you use the carbon rims only for racing.
