|The original ZR-2.0 bike had been stripped down and used for spare parts, and the frame and fork (both completely unused) are what's left over. The frame is in mint condition with two exceptions: there's a 2mm x 2mm nick in the paint on the top tube exposing the metal underneath, and the paint on the dropouts right where the rear axle had been fastened is somewhat chipped away (but this is to be expected). There are no dents whatsoever on the frame.
Is $250 a good deal for this ZR-2.0 frame w/ GT Edge carbon fork?

|I actually own a ZR 2.0 and found both the frame and fork to be great. The ride was not very harsh for an aluminium bike and it steered very precisely and tracked extremely well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it at that price especially if your a racer, if you trash it your not out of big money. It will build up to a relatively light bike. As for the paint, it happens with painted frames. Go to a Hobby shop, you will find paint to touch it up there. Use a match and drip in into the chip and let it dry, it will only be noticable to you.|

|I had the GT 5.0 road bike and loved it. Then I noticed a small crack up on the head tube, it was bad enough to complain to my LBS where I purchased it. It made me sick, I really loved that GT. Anyways, Pacific (who now "owns" GT) wasn't able to replace it with another GT, so instead they sent me, free of charge, a Schwinn Fastback Limited frame. What a sweet frame. I am VERY happy. Long story short, Pacific is honoring ALL claims and warranty issues with GT/Schwinn. I had no problem whatsoever.
My $0.02 worth

|I finished building up my ZR2.0 about a month ago with Ultegra/Dura Ace parts. What a sweet bike it turned out to be.
Yeah, the paint chips a little too easily, but I'd rather not worry too much about and just enjoy the ride. At $250, it's a fair deal despite the paint chips.
