|I have a 12-25, and live in the hills (Pa.). and I don't want to have to buy a new mid cage rear der. and cass. to get a 29 tooth cass. if I could get 26 cog and change the 25 tooth of the cass. it would help a little.|

|Did this to my "climbing" bike a while back and really liked the added spin factor.

|I too live in the hills of PA and have been pushing a 13-23 for a few years. I finally ordered a 13-28 loose cog campy cassette from brandford two weeks ago and it's helped with spinning a ton. I was going to order a single 26 tooth for $13 but I got the whole cassette for $30 and with it a 25 and 28 tooth that I never had.
Supposedly the 28 tooth will work with the mid cage if you're careful with the chain sizing and not running extreme gear combos while riding.
Just another option you may want to consider.
