Anyone know of a good five spoke front wheel for TT. I have looked everywhere and I cant find any that have a braking surface. I have seen so many people with them but they are going so fast I can't get the brand name off the spokes. I would think everyone saw Jaja's first bike in stage 9 of the tour this year it had a five spoke front, and then a couple years ago I saw Lance with one. I know they are out there. If anyone knows who makes them besides Mavic for the track, tell me please.

you only want the Eio. Thats what the Pros use. It doesnt have a braking surface but they dont care. they dont use their front brake, or just lightly. Mavic might even specially coat the rim for minimal braking. You'll never find one though.

either way, why woudl you wanna drop 1000$ plus for just a front wheel? Can you do a sub 52 min 40k? Even then the 5 spokes are less aero.

I'm not sure why you want a five spoke front wheel. It seems like there are two to many spokes to dirty up the air. There are a couple of great three spoke wheels used for TT. A lot of folks use the HED-3 and you can also look at the Nimble Crosswind.
