|Hi everyone, I just got a bike with an Ultegra group on it that I plan to replace with a Campy triple group. Trouble is, the last time I built a bike there were no splined bottom brackets, self-extracting crank bolts, threadless headsets, etc. Are there any web sites or (preferably cheap) books that explain how to work on these newfangled parts? Thanks!|

|Zinn and the Art of Road Bike Maintenance. Available at Amazon.
Most parts come with good instructions now.
The Park Tools site has lots of good info.
Sheldon Brown's site has good info, too, but directed more at the touring/fixie type bikes. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/repair/index.html

|I had the same problem when I started cycling seriously again a few years ago--I knew a ton about how to fix parts they don't make anymore, but not how to deal with the new stuff. Zinn's was excellent. Another good source is the Bicycling Magazine Complete Book of Bicycle Repair and Maintenance, or some title close to that. They're about $20 apiece (maybe $25 now; I bought mine a while ago).|

|has scads of instructions printed out in adobe. It's a lot of help when you're stuck. The campyonly website has a tech section and a tech advisor you can e-mail. Don't forget branfordbike.com .

|If you have a newer Ultegra double BB and crankset, and want to sell it, let me know... I might even be interested in the whole set if you are getting rid of it. (Don't mean to sound like a vulture here)|

|in case you are still interested... I am switching to a triple, so I sell bottom bracket, cranks, chain, front and rear derailleur. What else ? No, I think it's all. Ah, I also have a right-only Ultegra STI shifter, and a left-only Dura-Ace STI shifter for double setup. |
All of this 9-speed, very good condition, about 700 miles on it. The Dura-ace shifter is brand new, 0 mile on it.
