dent in rear rim ... can I still ride?weiwentg

there's a small dent on the lip of sidewall. can I still ride? or am I inviting disaster??

you can live with it. I rode one for the last 10 years... Of course, it really DID bug me (I could feel it with every rotation of the wheel), but I couldn't afford to fix it. Now I've got a new wheel, and I'm happy.

About a month ago, I ran over a big rock. Put a big, and I mean BIG, dent in my rear rim. I thought it was toast.

I took it to my LBS. He didn't make any promises,but would try. He straightened that rim out perfectly. I don't even have a noticeable bump in the rim.

Yes, you can still ride with the dent, but it will drive you nuts. Paul
