|I have Easton EC-90 bars on a Colnago C-40 (all carbon-fiber frame). I didn't notice much difference at all. They are decent bars, but not ideal for those with small hands.
The bend of these bars also isn't ideal for Campy ergo levers, IMO. I had to place the levers as high as they would go, just to get the brake hoods level. Rotating these bars to point the ends down (and the brake hoods up) is not an option with these bars. The angle of the drop section becomes much too vertical.

|Well jeez C-40, you're already on top of so much carbon that of course you'll likely see litte benefit.
I've got the same bars on a Giant TCR-0 and they sure seem to have taken some "edge" off of the aluminum. Of course, it's already got a carbon fork w/carbon steerer, but it made a noticeable improvement. Huge improvement? Nah, but noticeable nonetheless.
Now, if I put those same bars on my older C-dale 2.8 frameset, I'd bet the difference would be more pronounced. Ugh, that frame is STIFF!.

|But, I was on a LS Classic with Prima 199's and now I'm
on a C-40 With Easton EC90's, so I guess it's partly the
frame/fork/bar combination. I find that I can ride longer
without gloves (to avoid that dreaded 'white hands' look
in the summertime) with the carbon bars; on the alloy
bars, I needed the gloves for comfort after 60-90 mins,
but can ride the carbon bars for 2 hours+ barehanded with
no problems. (Harder to wipe the sweat, though..:)

|They helped my bike alot. I ride a steel Lemond Buenos Aires. My carbon fiber bar got rid of the road buzz. I got the Kestrel EMS Pro after reading the reviews here.
