|I believe this to be a Nuovo Record 7 speed hub. Is this correct? How can I tell? Is there a site with hub model info? I've tried campyonly.
I bought the set, repacked and polished and am building them with a pair of Omega Strada XL rims.

|The elongated dust cover/sealing cone is the give away. The number of cogs it can take is a function of the axle length - 126 mm over lock nut spacing = 7 speed.|

|Croce d'aune did not have the countersunk spoke holes or the same dust cover as this C-Record,|
|Face to face is 130mm? Does dust cover come off?||TFerguson|

|Did they make a 130 hub or has a spacer been added?
Also, does the left side dust cover come off like the ones on the front do? The front ones just slide off. The rear does not and I am don't want to force it.

|Use a wide bladed screwdriver or (better) the thin blades of a cone wrench and just work your way around with a twisting motion.
To get the wider spacing, you substitute a longer axle and additional spacer. The hub is not "130 mm" it is the axle and spacer combo.
