I am looking to get some new cages, probably the black ones. Thoughts on these? Do they work well? Stain the bottles? Any feedback is most welcome.

I've been using the Tacx Tao on my mountain bike for about a month. It works great and is very light at 37g. The one cavaet is that it will not accomodate all brands of waterbottles. For me this is no problem as I use Tacx WB's. It is easy on the blind entry (bottle exchange) and is very secure even on bumpy washboard stuff. One great feature is that unlike most cages it allows for easy cleaning of the bike frame between the bolts. That was always difficult with the old standards.

I have two mounted on my Vortex. Silver in this case. As rubbertoes notes, they're light, don't mark the bottles and the bottles stay in the cage even over some of the bricked and cobbled bits I ride in the UK. I've been using Tacx bottles the last few years so they fit well. Worth looking into and they're less than the Elite Ciussi's I used before and more secure.
