|Anyone try removing the stitched in lettering that says "special ergonomic design" that's around the cut out? After a few hours it starts to feel like sandpaper against one's taint.
Just curious if removing it t helped. The holes that would be left exposed might be even worse. The new ones don't seem to have the evil stitching.

|If you're wearing bike shorts how can you possibly feel it?|

|I've got stitching all over my Serfas, and I can't feel a thing. Methinks he needs some better riding shorts...|
|Nope, shorts are ok.||wolfereeno|

|Castelli progetto-y's, Sugoi, good Izumi's. It's not something I feel through the pad. But I feel irritated after an hour or two of ridding.
Anyway, many others have complained about the stitching on this saddle in reviews here and on mtbr. So I'm not the only one. The saddle's pretty stiff around the cut out and the stitching doesn't help. The new models add a little gel at that point and have no stitching.
Just curious if anyone's attempted surgery on one before I replace it.
