The Primato is at the very top of the craft in my opinion. Custom diamond shapped Derosa chainstays, winged gussets on the bottom bracket shell, chrome lugs and box crown fork crown. Very classy.

The ride will be outstanding also. Very nice balance of stiffness to ride quality to weight. Super nice frame that should hold its value fairly well as time goes on.

You won't be sorry.

The Giro d'Italia model I remember was made with oversize Neuron tubing. Derosa changed around the tubesets they use on some of their models.

ed, those bottom bracket lugs with "wings" you mention... is it some sort of gusset on the bb, both sides, between the openings for the down and seat tubes? my frame has something like that, withe builder's initial stamped on them. it's pretty.

It's built with the best tube set of all time. My De Rosa rides like a dream.
