|Just a note of Kudo's to Bell. My three year old image pro helmet has seen a lot of use. The pads inside the helmet were simply gross. I wanted a new set of pads that fit the helmet, so I called Bell corporate to order a set. They sent me a new set of pads for free. I called last Tuesday and received the pads on Saturday. Great service.
My next helmet will be a Bell.
By the way, I asked them about their policy re: replacement. I wanted to know their opinion on when to replace an uncrashed helmet. She hedged a bit, but rec'd every three or four years with "normal" use. Now the question is: "Am I normal??"......don't answer that.

|I also have had good experiences with Bell/Blackburn (is Bell the parent company or some larger entity?) Sent in two mini-pumps after I was told by Bell CS that they have a lifetime warranty. A couple of new check valve seals would have fixed up the old pumps but they sent me two brand new pumps back. Very unexpected.

|bell's customer service is awesome. i asked where i could get replacement pads for my helmet and they sent new ones for free. the strap on my helmet broke out of the top and i sent it in. they sent a brand new helmet the day they received my old one. i just asked for a frame mount for my blackburn as-1 pump and they are sending me a new one as we speak. things like these they could sell (albeit cheaply), they give us for free...definitely going to be repeat customer for a long time.|

|Rudy project: Glasses. They sent me a new pair and two lens for free. Why?? Because the lens on my old pair had a slight crack. This is after three years!
Performance: My wife gave me a Silca floor pump for Christmas of 1999. The main rod snapped this year. Performance wanted to give me a full cash refund. I told them to send me another pump instead. All I wanted was to buy a replacement part.
This is the kind of customer service that will keep me a customer for a LONG time.
