can anyone tell me what is the best tire tire to use with Shimano wheels, or Mavic Cosmic. I tried Michelin but it is too tight, and impossible to mount with aero rims. Hutchinson seems to be ok but they don't last very long.
does anyone tried Continental Grand Prix line??

I have tried continental gp 3000 , they are very easy to mount, but the sidewalls are very thin. I now use vittoria rubino pro.

I have the Mavic Cosmic Pro wheels, which are older than the cosmic elites (the elites are the black ones. the cosmic pro's are the slightly older, deeper-rim silvery-blue ones), and I'm running Vittoria Rubino (rigid tires) on them and they work great. They mount easily. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I use rubino pros as well. Though my wheels are not the same as yours (hed 3 spoke) they are an awesome tire for the money and they mount easily.

well, it seems I´ll give a chance to Vittoria . I have been using Techno Pro only for indoor training because I have found it at a great price.but soon I'll buy a set of Rubino.I wear tires very fast because roads have many stop sinals, and pavement is not so good. after all, Vittoria has a good reputation for high presure tires. they also made some good shoes. Pantani use the carbon model I think.
thank you all and good training.
