|I have to install my Ouzo Pro fork, carbon fiber steerer...Can I use the "usual" star nut for the cf material?|

|This is a topic that's been covered extensively here. The star nut will gouge the finish and cut into the fibers, eventually leading to a catastrophic failure. The fork should have shipped with an expansion nut. If not, profile makes one. Besides, a standard star nut wouldn't hold in a carbon steerer anyway.|

|If you have to ask this question, you probably shouldn't be installing the fork yourself. Go pay a shop w/ a professional, competent mechanic who will do it right the first time.
Of course not all shops have professional, competent mechanics, but that is another thread. But hopefully there is a pro-level shop in your area.
