I finally received my 2002 Ksyrium SSC SL wheelset from xpedia.com today! Haven't had a chance yet to mount them, but I'm looking forward to it soon!

Thanks again for your help!
How long did it take to get them?B2

They seem to have the best price out there that I've seen. How much did they end up charging for shipping? Did you get charged any customs duty? How long did it take to get them from the time you ordered?

Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks,
Bryan

bryan,

xpedia charges about $100 for shipping (they use UPS), which offset the savings of the wheels a bit. still saved a lot, however.

i was charged about $64 or so for customs, which included two tires.

it took about 7 days for the wheels to arrive via COD. just one thing about COD--if you aren't there to pick it up or forget to make arrangements, UPS will automatically return the wheels to xpedia, no questions asked!

finally, xpedia failed to check for the spacer and spoke protector (not really needed) and shipped the wheels w/o these items. i went to my LBS and bought a spacer for a few quarters.

here we go with the boutique wheelset.....!

the ksyriums ssc sl needs a LONG valve stem. a short (normal) valve stem is too short and will provide endless minutes of frustration.
You need a new pumpS-U-B

I use short stems with no problems.
