|i just bought a campy carbon seatpost for my new de rosa. since then, i've heard a lot of bad things about those seatposts cracking and was hoping for any advice people out there might have for avoiding such a circumstance... i'm a relatively small woman so i don't think weight will be an issue.|

|I have one on my cross bike, wich I put about 1500 miles on this winter on some very nasty paths and fire roads.
I also have one on my road bike maybe 5000 miles on that one. Never any problems with either.
I've gone from 185 to 150, so I've sort of run the gamut on weight.
I wouldn't wory about it.

|The post is fine as long as you follow Campys installation instructions. Campy has a new seat collar they recommend. Overtighening will crack the post.|| |
