May 22, 2002 10:01 AM | | The chainline will most likely be off. I run this combo on my bike, but only to correct a bad chainline. It will work, though, in the sense that the spline pattern will match up. XT and below have a different spline pattern.
The XTR effective spindle length is adjustable via some spacers/shims included with the BB.
