What size cone wrench do I need for Shimano hubs? I know I can get by with just one, but I can't remember which size it is. Anybody know?

13,14,15,16 and 17 (2 Each)Will cover you for almost all Shimano hubs. I think the Nexus requires a 21. So you had better check with whoever told you 1. Let them buy the ones they say you don't need.

For a rear shimano hub it is a 15 and 17mm wrench size and for a front it is usually a 13 and 15mm size. That will work for a mountain or road hubset.
