Stripping paint from a Trek Carbon??Quack

Has anyone ever stripped a Carbon Trek and repainted the frame/fork? If so, what method did you use and are replacement decals available?

Thanks!

If you don't get it done by Trek or a recognized presssional paint shop you will void any warranty. The paint is normally sanded off and if you're not careful you can cut some of the CF at the surface. This is critical since the highest stresses are carried at the surface. My advice would be to stick to a professional operation and I have a lot of time working with CF and composite structures in the sailing world (hulls, spars, etc.)

What is your organization? How do you get the bikes? Do I have to have the bike stripped?
